Doodling Workshops for Mindful Meditation…And For Fun…
Doodling is a creative process to help us find calm and support our well-being
Taking care of our well-being and engaging in mindful practices is essential for leading fulfilling and balanced lives. It helps us maintain a healthy balance in our lives, both mentally and physically, and by prioritising our well-being, we can reduce stress, improve our mood, and enhance our overall quality of life. Additionally, practicing mindfulness allows us to be more present in the moment, which can lead to greater self-awareness and a deeper appreciation for the world around us.
Investing time in self-care and mindfulness can contribute to long-term resilience and emotional well-being, equipping us with the tools to navigate life's challenges more effectively. Activities like doodling and other creative exercises can be easily adopted into our daily routines, much like other wellness practices. Whether it's for 10 minutes or a full hour, these activities serve as valuable outlets.
Doodling has a range of benefits and is a great exercise to help us in times when we need to take a break and calm our inner thoughts, and can also help to alleviate and reduce anxiety, worry and stress, plus it’s a really fun exercise that allows our creative minds to flow, that anyone can do, with as little as a piece of paper and pencil.
In my sessions I'll take you through the benefits of Doodling and how to start designing your own in 3 easy steps. It’s not necessarily about creating a masterpiece at the end, it’s about enjoying the creative process and tuning into how it makes us feel.
At the end of the session you’ll go away with a downloadable e-book to refer to and guide you, so you can enjoy creating more lovely Doodles and adopt this creative exercise into your own wellness routines.
Workshops can be provided online or face to face, and can be developed and delivered to suit corporate groups, adults, and young people for a short 30 minute introduction or longer sessions that provide a fuller experience.
I am passionate about the benefits creativity can have to aid our Mental Wellbeing and through my sessions, my aim is for you to feel those benefits and discover the enjoyment creativity can offer us.
